The forge of European identity in the institutional journey of European and international organizations linked to Salvador de Madariaga

Salvador de Madariaga is one of the most recognized figures of Europeanism of the central years of the past. The study of the documentation of his personal archive, donated to the Instituto José Cornide de Estudios Coruñeses, allows us to reconstruct the internal life of important organizations in which Madariaga had an outstanding role, with his comings and goings, successes and failures, as well as the learning shared over time. It involves analysing the footprint left by Madariaga in the configuration of the idea of Europe through its role in these organizations.
